faq.

Q. What is Persona?
A. It's a game series in which a specific group of people (usually high school students) are able to summon facets of their souls used as battle proxies in order to fight for justice.

Q. I don't know anything about Persona. How will I pick out my persona and its abilities?
A. You will choose your brand of power (fire/ice/wind/lightning magic, healing, physical, and information-gathering) based on your character. For example, Axel from Kingdom Hearts would be more likely to have fire magic due to his character in the game. Upon acceptance, your character will be assigned a persona and a list of likely moves for it to have.

Q. How does my character summon his/her persona?
A. Upon arrival, they will be given an evoker, or a handgun-shaped device that the character uses to shoot him/herself in the head. Morbid, I know, but it's the only means of drawing out one's persona.

Q. Can I apply for a Persona character?
A. Sure! Canon Persona characters will just be put on the island with their ordinary personae, and the protagonist characters will have their universal powers intact.

Q. My character has super abilities/magic/etc. Can he/she keep them when he/she comes to the island?
A. No. For all intents and purposes, the bestowal of a persona strips a character of his/her powers.

Q. How do the characters communicate?
A. Along with their evokers, they will be given communicators that allow characters to communicate with each other, though each one is tapped by the lording group that has given them the powers for research purposes. They can be used to send video, voice, and text posts.

Q. Is there any way off the island?
A. No. The group takes good care to make sure that none of their subjects can leave.

Q. Who is this "group"?
A. A nameless organisation bent on extracting all researchable information about the dark hour and its inhabitants using your characters as guinea pigs. They're heartless and business-minded, but not always above negotiation--if you think you have anything to offer them that they would be willing to trade for.

Q. What's the deal with this medication?
A. Unnatural personae are volatile and dangerous to the users. Thus, medication is necessary to suppress the power to keep the user from dying. However, the medication itself is fairly dangerous, though addicting. It's available everywhere, but it's up to your character whether or not he wants to use it--though it comes highly recommended.

Q. Where will my character live?
A. The setting is an enormous, uninhabited city aside from your character and the others that have been taken. So, there will obviously be hotels, apartments, houses, and all sorts of lodgings available to the characters. Grocery stores, too, and other sorts of boutiques line the city, but they are devoid of clerks. Group members restock them on a weekly basis.

Q. My question hasn't been answered on this page. What do I do?
A. Just ask here! If there's anything we've left out, feel free to address it.
